On October 2, 2018 True Forensic Science’s Science Director & Instructor, Prof. Carlos A. Gutierrez, was invited to offer a Seminar in the Criminalistics Laboratory of the Policia de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI), Chile. The Seminar named “The Impact of Forensic Sciences and its Multidisciplinary Approach in the Crime Scene Work,” was attended by more than 70 forensic laboratory officers and investigators. During this Seminar, attendees where able to learn the latest terminology and definitions of today’s Forensic Sciences, as well as its new specialties for improving experts’ work at the crime scene, such as: Forensic Microanthropology, Forensic Taphonomy, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), among others.
